| - I've been using this service for the past 4-5 months and for me and my wife it is a 5-star experience. However, you really have to be in the target demographic.
You get unprepped ingredients and you have to do all slicing, dicing, and cooking from scratch. It is also expensive, relative to getting your own ingredients from the grocery store, especially if you normally buy bulk.
So who should sign up? If you enjoy cooking, but can't put in the time and effort to find recipes and buy the ingredients OR if you find that you often have food from the grocery store spoil on you because you are cooking for just 1 or 2 and can't finish off the ingredients, it's a great option. It's cheaper and healthier than take-out, you get the fun of cooking at home, and it takes a lot of the headache out of the process.
One tip: we were getting 3 meals for two people, but it was getting tough to find time to cook three meals each week. We switched to 2 meals for 4 people and we just have leftovers every second night, so we get 4 dinners out of it. So far it's working out really well.
