  • We chose JRW (a father & son team) to repair the plaster & paint our master bedroom in our historic home built in 1941. They are very thorough and professional in their approach. They are quite busy but we were able to get fit in for our 2 day job. I was pleased to see the positive reviews. They informed me there were additional positive reviews, but Yelp removed them for some reason having to do with Yelp's computer system. I read Barbara "B's" review and it seemed pretty clear she was difficult to please. Also she evidently didn't bother to update her review or photos to reflect the additional free work JRW did to make her happy, so she doesn't sound very fair in her assessment of their work. JRW stated their contracted price would be firm and they honored that and stayed within budget. The bedroom already looks 10 times better! They used zero VOC paint, which was important to me. They assured us that if there was a need for any touch-ups or warranty work after the job is done, they will be happy to address it. I am happy with our decision to use JRW. Both of them are really cool dudes too.
