| - Came here looking for a sunshade and a steering wheel cover. From out of state, and I definitely need them.
I looked around and didn't find help for a while. Found a small display rack with some shades on it, but none of the JUMBO ones except a pink/zebra one. Checked the back for sizes, and it doesn't have my (typical top-selling SUV)'s on there, meaning it won't fit.
I find the steering wheel covers, but they're all shoved in the holders, and none of them match the labels/descriptions, so the prices below aren't accurate. I find a decent one, but it's in the slot that says it's hot pink and $20, so I take it up front for a price check and ask the guy to help me find a sunshade for my SUV.
The gentleman took me over to a different display, that had a slightly larger selection, but still had the ones I needed out of stock. The one he tried to sell me didn't have my car listed on the part that said it would fit my vehicle--meaning it wouldn't fit. I explained to him how I have had one that didn't properly fit, and even with wedging it in with the visors, it didn't stay up or block out the sun--which is the point of the product. I wasn't about to drop more money on a new one when it advertised NOT fitting my vehicle right on the back--but he wasn't listening. He said that the jumbo sized sunshades sell out a lot in Vegas (then perhaps your store should order some more?)
I asked for his advice on the steering wheel covers, and he seemed to be only trying to get me to buy the more expensive products. First, the sunshade that wouldn't fit and would be twice as much, then a cover I didn't want and was leather, which would be just as hot and was more expensive. I made my decision without his help, made my purchases, and left.
