All delish, all the time. We get either the Scali or Cracked wheat loaves every week for sandwiches, etc. Since I'm there, I usually pick up a treat or two as well. Have to say they are all good, but their croissant-type dough (also shows up in the morning buns and I think the orange rolls) is amazing. Buttery, flaky and light. Delicious both in sweets and in the savory stuffed croissants. The last time I had the ham and cheese croissant, the ham was rolled quite thick, which made for a bit unbalanced flavor, but that was easily fixed. When I need some serious chocolate, the salted chocolate brownie is the way to go.
And the service! Counter staff is friendly and cheerful. I've decided working at Batch might be my dream job.
