My wife and I wanted to board our two french bulldog puppies for an extended weekend. We were both impressed by the website and very satisfied with their veterinary services. We called earlier today and asked to tour the facility My wife explained that we both work till 5:30. The woman that took the call said that while they prefer to conduct tours before 3 pm she would accommodate our request. When we arrived at 6:30 pm this evening we were greeted by a young gentleman cleaning the lobby. He was unaware that we were coming and he explained that the offices were closed. I explained that earlier arrangements had been made. He quickly called his manager ,Bobby, and handed us the phone. As my wife took the phone, Bobby immediately raised his voice and accused her of lying and repeatedly screamed that "You are not getting a tour!" My wife attempted to explain the earlier arrangements, however, Bobby rudely cut her off and again accused her of lying. My wife kept her composure and simply responded that we would not be returning. Bobby's curt reply was " I don't care and thank you very much!" If this is how Applewood Resort treats a potential customer there is no way we would allow them to care for two defenseless puppies. While this facility may be upscale in appearances their management staff clearly have no understanding of how to treat customers. As a result of this incident, we are also looking for another vet as we don't want to support any part of this organization.
Update 1-4-17: Roberto you obviously have little insight into how to treat customers. Customer service "101" is not to write a reply calling the customer a liar. Unfortunately our experience is consistent with other reviews posted here. We have since found a much better provider for our puppies.
