If you're looking for someone honest and punctual.... look elsewhere.
The plumber was supposed to arrived between 11am-1pm. I called the company at 1:20 after realizing no one showed up. They told me the plumber would arrive in 40mim - that did NOT happen.
The plumber finally showed up sometime after 2pm. I explained the water leak as best as I could. He looked at me and said "It will be a $100 to start". I told him that the company told me I'd get a FREE ESTIMATE to which he just gave me a blank stare and again told me it would be $100 to start. I repeated that I wanted a free estimate which then made him give me a blank stare and said he'd get started.
I watched as the blankly stared at my water meter. He then told me I needed to call the city because it was a city line. He then said my old sprinkler system needed to be capped off - which was already capped off. Had the bother to really look at it, he would have noticed that there was nothing wrong with it.
Before the plumber left, he said the total would be $45. I then gave him a blank stare and he took off.
I think that if the company really offered free estimates, then the plumbers should really be advised if that. Specially since I had clearly asked the company before sending someone out to my house.
