  • The high roller is located at the end of the Linq area. You can purchase your tickets at a machine along the way to the High Roller or at the High Roller. It costs $25 per person for a daytime pass and $35 per person for a nighttime pass. I'm not too positive when the nighttime pass is in effect. There is also an option for unlimited alcohol but I don't know the price for that. There is a bar located before you load the pod if you want to drink alcohol but don't want to do the unlimited alcohol. The best viewing place on the pod would be to the right as soon as you get in. When you're at the top you can see basically the whole strip. If you're on the left side, you see the north side of the strip - Harrahs, Venetian/ Encore. You can walk around the pod, however the first time I rode the High Roller, these people who sat at the "good spot" would not leave and basically would not let people take pictures there. The second time I rode it, only my group (4 people) were in the pod so it was nice. I don't know if it's not as busy anymore but there was no waiting at all. It's a 30 minute ride. There is a video playing in the background with random facts to somewhat keep you entertained. They offer to take a picture before you load the pod and you can view and purchase it in the gift shop when you exit. Before or after the High Roller you can grab a bite to eat at the Linq or just walk around. There's a lot going on there. Because there is a lot going on there, the traffic going into the Linq area gets backed up. We had the taxi driver drop us off at Battista's Hole in the Wall restaurant and we walked to the High Roller. I wouldn't ride the High Roller everytime I go to Vegas. I rode it the second time because our friend gave us free tickets. It would be nice to go on once so you can get a gorgeous view of the strip.
