This second visit was so much more pleasant than my first visit! First of all I'd like to say that what changed the most was the customer service. I came in for dinner the first time and this time I came in during their slow hours which was between 3pm and 5pm.
ATMOSPHERE: Good, relaxing and I was extremely grateful for the A/C which wasn't on blast making me cold like most restaurants nor was it too hot. Hey, that's important! Just saying =) the interior has the typical classic Japanese sushi setting and very subtle wood and black colors with interesting pieces of Kabuki masks and Japanese paintings.
FOOD: good good good! I enjoyed all of the nigiri that I ordered which was what my entire AYCE sushi experience consisted of. I don't really like getting complicated rolls and I prefer to taste each ingredient in its beautiful simplicity. White tuna nigiri is my favorite and although it hasn't been the best I've ever had, it was still pretty good. Other nigiri I recommend is Cajun albacore, salmon, amaebi (sweet shrimp), surf clam, eel and yellowtail. Stay away from the tuna and tako wasabi, respectively they were dry and too slimy.
SERVICE: great service, I wish I remembered our Asian male server's name. He was way better than the rude Spanish guy that we had during dinner my first visit. Also the girl with the Skrillex haircut was pretty cool/nice. Definitely much better service. Keep it up and I'll be back =)
