  • If you're getting married in Vegas and looking for a fun, different venue for a dinner or reception, you should definitely consider BB KIng's. My husband and I didn't want to have a formal, sit-down dinner after our wedding. Instead we wanted a place where entertainment was part of the deal and where our friends would actually get up and dance. That's exactly what we got at BB KIng's. I am a bit of a food snob, so I was a little unsure about having southern BBQ for my wedding, but I was very wrong. We ended up having a buffet (and our guests were so happy that they didn't have to sit through a multiple course dinner) which had everything a non-traditional wedding needed: BBQ chicken, pulled pork, fried catfish, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and more. I was completely prepared for so-so food, and I was completely wrong. The food was great. And the house band there (don't remember the name) is unreal. The female singer has the most amazing voice. And the guitarist was absolutely spectacular. He was playing Purple Rain and he OWNED that song. If I didn't know better I would have thought it was the little purple man himself. BB King's is a very fun place to have an event--especially a non-traditional, fun, laid-back wedding.
