After arriving in our room at Paris about 8 pm, my daughter and I decided to eat in the hotel. We don't particularly do steakhouses, but wanted a substantial meal to share after a long day of travel. The lasagna was recommended by an employee; it was not on the menu. There seems to be an "off the menu" menu which you have to know to ask for. They were out of the lasagna so we chose shrimp over spaghetti with a lemon butter sauce and the "famous" meatball salad. The meatball was dense and just ok; the salad was drowning in dressing and basically inedible. The pasta dish was again just ok. Mind you, we had no alcohol, one salad, and one entree. The bill was in the vicinity of $88! For that kind of money, I expect much, much more. Mediocre, at best.
