The museum is full of amazing nuggets of history if you take the time to read the plaques. There are some cul de sacs with stunning and rare music artifacts - I loved the one dedicated to the first photographer of hip hop.
I'd love to see more about some of the lesser-known subgenres (like nerdcore hip hop), but if you aren't into something obscure, this should hit you where you live.
We ate at the cafe on the third floor, which was understaffed and frantic, with little available on their self serve section due to the aforementioned. Portions are small and even hot options aren't great, but the prices are positively Clevelandish for an entertainment venue.
The mac n cheese was clearly authentic and from scratch, but small. The cookie was perfect and only seven ingredients, all ones you'd recognize.
Rock on.
