During the last three months I went to Vegas three times. The first two times I didn't get a chance to swim either to renovations (Flamingo) or closed for the season (Bally's). A week before my reservation at Harrah's it was reported that the pool at Harrah's was closed due to renovations. I was disappointed because I would get a chance to swim. To my surprise and delight when I checked in last Monday I was informed the pool would be open.
Nothing spectacular about the pool as it's an Olympic-style standard pool. The pool isn't very deep about 3-5 feet. I believe the size of the pool is quite small for this size of the hotel; there aren't enough pool lounges. A case in point is the pool opens at 9AM but within half an hour all the pool lounges are occupied. One feature I wish this facility had is a spa.
The pool isn't the greatest pool, but it's a decent pool. Considering that I wasn't able to swim the last two times in Vegas I was more than happy to have the opportunity to swim.
