  • Location: On Queen St West. A little bit of a walk from Queen Station which is doable on a nice day. Clothing is located on the second floor. First floor is spacious but the second is slightly crowded with weird flow. All the "less pricey/non-designer" items are near the back. Quality and Price: They have a decent selection of items and from what I saw, in okay to good condition. They also carry many imitation brands (noticeably non-Louboutin shoes with red soles, and many Herve Leger-esque dresses) so be very careful about what you are looking at. Prices were also a little high for consigned goods. An Alexander McQueen clutch I saw selling for $350 on Beyond the Rack they had for sale for $1200. Unless they're willing to negotiate, I am doubtful that the price accurately reflects the quality of the goods. Service: Mediocre. I asked the girl if she had any Hermes twillies and she responded with "Twilly? What's that? I've never heard of that. No, we don't have any." ... Really? You work with designer goods on a daily basis, you don't know what an Hermes twilly is? Then didn't even bother to check with someone else? Regardless, she was not particularly helpful when I wanted to see items in cabinets or when I asked questions. Someone needs training. Though REmix has a better selection than Fashionably Yours, I was very put off by the snooty attitude of the girl that worked on the second floor today. Overall: Again, similar to Fashionably Yours. Will not rule the store out completely on a sub-par experience but I think my review is pretty consistent with what other's are saying as well. Despite being a frequent luxury goods shopper, I was very turned off by the lack of service at this location. EDIT: I returned to Remix recently to browse and see if they got any new stock in. There was a young gentlemen upstairs this time and from what I had read, his name is Salem (owner) and he has a reputation for being snooty. I don't like to judge anyone until I actually meet them but I went in not expecting much. And true to what others have said, this man lives up to his reputation. He grudgingly answered questions, tried amateur sales tactics to pressure me, and when I didn't bite, pretty much "dumped" us on the girl that also worked there with him. I wasn't very pleased with my experience. With the mediocre merchandise and slightly too high prices, coupled with the staff's arrogance, I think I'd rather take my business and money elsewhere.
