  • A complete and total displeasure. In addition to dealing with a consistently RUDE listing agent (Alex), this group made two attempts to end a contingency with us (a buyer) by means that skirt legalities, and are most certainly UNETHICAL!! As Veterans, we had to have a home appraisal. The property came back $70k below the agreed sale price. In the midst of appealing the appraisal, the Brenkus Group forwarded a Letter of Termination with ZERO contact or discussion of options. They also told the seller that an appeal process wasn't possible, leading him to believe the deal was dead. They removed the contingency and placed the home "back on the market" despite our agents insistence to them that we were waiting for a review of the appraisal. Upon receiving the response from the appraiser, the deal died May 2, 2016. Today we see that the house received an offer on May 1st, before our termination letter was signed. This agency has a history of shady dealings, consistently rude and arrogant encounters (that's when they can be bothered to actually respond to phone calls and emails), and an unfavorable reputation (well earned) in the Real Estate industry. We will file a complaint with the Board about your unprofessional behavior and make sure that no other Veterans will ever have to be subjected to dealing with you lying, uninformed team about manners concerning the VA. You have single-handedly made the THE WORST HOME BUYING EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD!!
