| - I got my lashes done at the end of April to look pretty on my vacation first week of May. This shop is so chic and sassy. Scheduling was easy. Although whoever I exchanged text messages with to set up my appointment didn't write my name down in the schedule book, I was able to come in as planned. The appointment took almost an hour. It was a very unique experience. Imagine laying down for almost an hour with your eyes taped up and bright light shine on you.
I got the mixed full set done by Dakota, and they looked so beautiful on Day 1. On day 2, I noticed couple extensions fell out, so I called to come in as they had free touch up within the first three days. I didn't like how the front desk person told me that they "allowed" a 15' touchup for free when I first contacted them. I was expecting them to feel bad that their extensions didn't last three days, or that they didn't teach me to wash the natural oil (that my body produced) off every other day with the lash wash so that the extensions would last longer. Anyhow, I came back for the free touchup, and it took less than 10 minutes. A few days later, couple extensions fell out again. I was told that it was the natural cycle for 2-5 lashes to fall out every day or so. I didn't think it was the case for me as my real lashes were still intact, and only the extensions fell off. Anyways, I was done with trying to have them fix my extensions to look perfect for my trip. I ended up buying Ardell individual lashes to fill in the gaps myself.
It was windy at the place where I went to for vacation. I was surprised that the rest of the extensions lasted through my vacation. They didn't look anything like the first day, but still as beautiful as my natural lashes ever look.
Keep in mind, if you want your extension to last, no touching/ rubbing your eyes, no water-proof eyeliner, no water-proof makeup removal, and no rolling in bed. If you can do that, lash extensions are for you.
This is an expensive hobby/ interest. It costed me $140 plus tip for a mixed full set, $75 for touch up, and touch up has to be done within TWO weeks of the new set. After two weeks, it's considered a new set, not a touchup.
