  • The ER staff is nice, but I have had some unpleasant experiences with two of their physicians. One was just plain rude, and the other was negligent when prescribing drugs. Despite talking to one of the physicians about my severe allergy to a number of painkillers... he STILL tried to prescribe me one I was allergic to. The nurse was ready to inject it into my IV.... and thankfully I asked what it was, because she didn't bother to check my chart before attempting to administer it. I was able to catch it on time. But for someone with more severe allergies than mine... this could have caused some serious problems. I expect more from health providers. The best part? I was still billed as if I had received the medicines which my chart CLEARLY states I am allergic to. I have been to this ER twice, and although my health insurance pays 100% of emergency fees (private employer plan), they bill above and beyond what is considered "Usual and Customary," so both times I have walked away with hundreds of dollars in bills. I will not be going there again anytime soon.
