| - Twisted Vegas. Its a show that depicts what Vegas is all about but with a "Twist". Technically its a bunch of shows and attractions presented as snippets all rolled into a 90 minute show.
Your host, Alex Goude, is also the host of France's Got Talent. Just this alone should tell you that he should be able to hold his own on the stage. Im assuming he's the one responsible for putting this show together.
As for the show, I dont know where to begin. Everything presented was quite remarkable and I dont want to turn this review into a novel. They have a pretty talented crew. People that can juggle, hand balance, tight rope walk, dance, impersonate, and sing. They did their own funny versions of KA, Mystere, Zumanity (dont worry there is no nudity, sort of), O, and Le Reve. Heck they even did a mock up of Blue Man Group. There are 4 things I specifically want to mention.
1. The balancing act by the the Kristef brothers was not only amazing, but the overall awkwardness of their kinship was obvious and because of that, made their act seem more genuine. For those that dont know who these guys are, they were finalists on AGT (America's Got Talent) a couple years ago.
2. The Celine Dion impersonator. That person was virtually spot on in regards to speaking and singing like Celine. What was more impressive was that that person was a guy! He not only walked like a woman flawlessly (in high heels by the way) but the body motions and facial expressions were what Celine would do herself.
3. The midget. What show is complete without a midget? Ok for you politically correct peeps, what show is complete without a "Little Person?" That little guy did a mock impersonation of Criss Angel in which he was way more entertaining than Criss himself. Sidenote: I cant "beLIEve" that show is still going based on the 1 and a half star Yelp rating.
4. Last but not least and most importantly, the host himself, Alex Goude. It's obvious the success of the show is based on his persona. He not only had some good solo moments, but his chemistry with the rest of the crew compliments him very well. His solo laser light dance was very entertaining. The Michael Jackson Thriller segment had the crew pulling out audience members as extras performing the famous dance chorus.
Overall, I would love to see this show again. Its great for all ages and who wouldnt want to be a part of the dance segment of Thriller? Its definitely not a multi million dollar production but they do use smoke and lasers so its entertaining for the dollar value nonetheless. You wont feel like you got ripped off, thats for sure. You can take all the pictures you want of the performance. Just dont have the flash on for obvious reasons and of course there is no recording. When the show is over you can even take pics with the performers as you exit the theater. Definitely take a pic with Celine Dion and then tag the real her on social media. Who knows, she may reply to you.
