Love the concept: traditional donuts with a focus on artisanal preparation and organic ingredients. However, upon sampling two of their offerings, the glazed donut and cinnamon role I was more impressed with the buzz words attached to the store than the end result.
The dough of the donut was a bit dry, perhaps too chewy or doughy, it's saving grace was the flavor of the dough which could stand on its own against the glazing. The same problem plagued the cinnamon roll which I found a bit lacking in cinnamon flavor and a dough which was dry. I did appreciate that the goods on offer are not overly sweet, allowing one to have more than one and not go into a sugar induced comma immediately afterwords.
