| - I am a very brittle diabetic with lots of health problems my main complaint on a daily to weekly basis is the chronic nausea and vomiting. I literally just changed my primary doc 2 days ago. My old primary never accepted walk ins and her schedule is always booked 2-3 weeks out. So I had to turn to dr frank. He is hands down the most awesome dr I've ever seen. I trust him and appreciate him more than words. He knows the horrible nausea I live with and is very eager to help me. I have gone here for many other things as well. Fractured ankle, allergy attack, kidney stones. But mostly the nausea. I have made the very bad mistake of going when dr frank wasn't there and I will never do it again! I won't drag anyone's name through the mud but I literally would lay in bed and puke my brains out and crock over Before I seen some of those other dr.s. Maybe they were having a bad day or are just not the doctors for me! But They don't listen to a thing I'm saying, try to give me medications I don't need or I refuse to take, sit there and tell me things about myself that are totally off. It's crazy! One even gave me a medication I TOLD him had a drug interaction with my cholesterol medication. I couldn't believe it! They always seem to try to force different medications down my throat. I absolutely refuse to take any new meds until I research them myself and be sure I don't have a drug interaction. I know myself better than any dr does and I know for 100% certainty that I have my best interest at heart. So I appreciate a dr who listens to me and understands my fears and can suggest things to me instead of try to force things on me. And that is dr Frank! I nag him every time I see him because he doesn't have his own practice! Most of the other staff members are very polite and professional. There was a girl up front that was just blah. Never had a smile on her face, always negative and rude. I haven't seen her there for a while so I'm thinking they seen the issues and handled them. I really wish they had the pharmacy inside their office still. I almost never get narcotics (except for the broken ankle) so I would be able to get my scripts right there if they still had it! That's about the only thing I wish was different! Thank you to dr Frank and all the staff that always make sure I am in and out quickly and my comfort is always important! Oh, the only other dr I would not mind seeing again is dr David Christiansen (I probably spelled that wrong). He is very good. He is very knowledgeable. And extremely professional. He listens to the patient and makes your needs a priority! And lastly, I'll thrown in one last personal opinion... I feel any good doctor or the making of a good doctor is one whom will listen to the patient. Like I said before, I know my body better than anyone else on this earth. So when I tell you, or excuse me, when a patient tells you what is going on, what meds they can or can not take, especially when they have gone through the same exact thing for over 10 years, a good doc should probably listen! All of these arrogant jerks just out of Med school need to take notes. It's very frustrating! I am allergic to zoftan, I get extremely sick with lots of side effects. No I'm
Not going to try these 10 other nausea meds you want me to take. Phenergen works best for me, does not make me drowsy and I get no side effects from it. So stop treating me bad after I ask you if you can please just write down the meds you suggest and I will gladly go home and research them and consider them. (Not 1 time when I ask them to write it down do they actually do it! Never once!) But for now I'm puking all over so give me my measly 25mg shot in my butt and we will go from there! Front desk staff- 9 times out of 10 they are very kind.
They had this one girl that had a rude attitude but she doesn't appear to work there anymore.
Back desk staff-never had 1 rude person from the back desk staff.
Doctor- dr Frank and dr christenson are the only docs I will ever see from here!
Waiting room-very nice, always clean, 99% of the time the tvs are on for the kids (thank you so much for that!)
Bathrooms- always clean never had a problem with filth or scum anywhere.
Patient rooms- could be a little cooler in temperature sometimes but other than that they are very clean, comfortable and well decorated.
