| - I would really give this place 5 stars but there was some confusion with their restaurant.com and Nick's Sunday/Monday wine specials.
The coupon is $25 off $50 in food purchase. Great, easily done, my dish alone cost $50. We spent over $100 in food.
We got a bottle which normally was $40 and was on sale for $22. Now, none of this would have been an issue if someone had told us that we couldn't get it for that sale price with the coupon, period. No putting it off on it's own check, no nothing, even with over $100 worth of food.
So when I got the check with a $40 dollar bottle of wine that retails for $10 at Total Wine. I was not overly happy.
Sever said there was nothing to do. I just wish someone had warned me about this prior since I would have stuck with cocktails (which sounded like drinks to write home about) and not the wine.
Here is the good now: Nick has the bombastic mustache. Our server Jacob was fantastic as well, some of the best and most prompt service I have gotten in Vegas in a long while. All that was missing was a crumber. Haha.
The food was divine, we got the bordetto mussel app, the broth was flavorful and even good to dip bread in. I got the veal osso buco with risotto. This was done to perfection, the risotto was cooked fantastically and the marrow of the bone was delish. My boyfriend got the ciopinno special and he loved it as well. Hats off to the chef!
Will I be back? I dunno. For the food and service, sure but not with a coupon apparently.
