| - STAY AWAY!!!! AVOID!!! Use at risk of your own frustration. My experience occurred on Saturday, 10/9/2016
I cannot express my disatisfaction with this location any stronger than to advise you to never use this business. My service interaction with the staff combined with their unexpected and excessive pricing caused me to leave this establishment to service my truck elsewhere.
Service: I called this location as I was in the area and wanted a quick oil change between service intervals at my normal vendor (Firestone Complete Auto Care). The staff member who answer the telephone was no cordial nor helpful. When asked if they were busy he said, "We have one car in bay". I had to ask how many bays they have and he replied "two". I pointed out that didn't sound busy as I could drive right into the other bay and he said "yes". I asked how long it would take (twice). He advised 15 minutes for a basic oil change. He id not offer additional information and ended the call. This sounds like a simple interaction but getting any help from him was difficult.
When I arrived at the location another individual (I could tell by his voice) met me at the open bay. He asked if he could help. I told him I only needed a basic high mileage oil change. He indicated that could be done. He then asked, "Are you aware of our pricing?". I said no but it's just a basic Jiffy Lube oil change thinking, "how much could it possibly cost"? He advised it would be $69.99 before taxes and other fees for a high-mileage (mixed synthetic) oil change. I asked him to check that price as it sounded exorbitant since my normal vendor only charges $34.99 for the same job. He looked at me, dumbfounded, and in a very unhelpful and matter of fact way said, "That's the price". I then pointed to the business right next to this Jiffy Lube (another auto care center) that had a $19.99 oil basic oil change advertised on it's doors. I advised that price was ridiculous. Again, looking dull faced and serious, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "That's the price". He then said, "well, we check your fluids and tire pressure too". When I pointed out to him that additional service is commonly free he didn't flinch and stood there appearing confused.
I advised him the price was not acceptable for the service offered and I drove away.
I will NEVER visit this location or offer recommendations to the entire Jiffy Lube franchise again. If this is the pricing and service Jiffy Lube and/or this franchisee finds acceptable they will lose many customers.
Don't do it! Stay away!!
