Hubby and I have stayed here a handful of times, starting when they were brand new and still shiny.
Cut to 2015...it's not so shiny and new any more. MOST of their staff is still awesome. We had a perplexing encounter with a rude valet - my husband spelled his last name for him and the valet leaned over and yelled "WHAT!?" with a tone of annoyance - but thankfully we never had to deal with him again.
We've stayed here twice in the last 4 months because for the most part they are still very nice rooms and a good value. Unfortunately, we've also noticed that things are breaking down...lamps don't work, blow dryers don't work and irons don't work. Though service requests are fulfilled promptly, it took us 3 tries to get a working blow dryer and on our latest visit, two tries to get a working iron. Grr!! We didn't even bother with the bedside lamp.
We also noticed a dirty glass in our bathroom...the bottom of the glass was coated with white...and it's supposed to be clean? Ick. I didn't quite feel the same after that.
The general feeling is that some of the rooms haven't been touched in a long time, hence probably why they aren't aware when something stops working.
All in all, it's got a few flaws but still a nice place to stay especially since it doesn't have a casino and does not allow smoking. The shuttles to Caesar and Wynn is also a nice touch.
