Came here for my birthday weekend. This is the first time that I have been here since the change over from Monte Carlo to the Park MGM. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and welcoming they did notice that it was my birthday and wishes me happy birthday. I did arrive early about 12 to check in my check in was fast and efficient . The room was pretty decent the bed was really soft and comfortable. There is a ceiling light with the wire running from the ceiling down the side of the wall not sure if that is how it was supposed to be like or not, it did look a little un classy for being a MGM property. As I was leaving the room my friend noticed that the door wasn't locking we tried over and over to see if it would lock but we did have complications. Contacted guest services informed them of the issue. I ended up switching rooms at that time. After the room switch we made our way to the pool. You do need to show your room key for access. There are two pools north and south pools both have cabanas along with lounge chairs. A lot of the lounge chairs have reserved on them. We started off at the north pool then gradually moved over to the south as the shade came over the north pool. Another benefit of park MGM is that its located right next to T Mobile arena so if you just want to grab a drink at the bars close by you can. Or if your there for a concert or even to see the fabulous Las Vegas Golden Knights play you are within walking distance.
