  • Stopped by the brewery on a saturday afternoon to try out some of their beer. I ended up having a pint of the minimum wage(If i remember correctly) IPA which was very tasty and as good as any IPA I've ever had. I also tried a sip of a Jalapeno beer they had which was something I have never tried before. The aroma of the jalapeno beer smelled just like Jalapeno's but the taste wasn't too overpowering. Kinda sweet almost. They seem to have just recently opened up a "store front", or bar if you will, at the brewery which is kinda neat because you can sample all of their beers in the one location. The prices were also very affordable at around 4 dollars for a full pint. Or if you wanted you could get a full 60oz pitcher for around 12 dollars. There were two staff members working the bar and I believe one of the ladies was a part owner and she was extremely friendly and helpful in making suggestions on what to try. She also let us walk back into the room where the vats are and all of the magic of the brewing process takes place. Nothing new to see here if you've seen the set up before but it's always nice to feel like you are being treated to a tour when you go to any place like this. The only downside to this place is that the inside was kinda spartan as far as the feel of it goes (concrete counter top, concrete floors, cinder block walls) but it's not like they are trying to knock it out of the park on decorations and accommodations. It is what it is and that is a place for having some beers with friends and try sampling some new brews. If you are a beer drinker definitely stop by and try out some of their product and if you have a chance to try some of their beers at other local bars it wouldn't be a bad be to roll the dice and try any one of their selection. Oh yeah, on a side note, we also inquired if they would be selling Kegs to the general public. The owner said it wasn't something they currently offered but it may be something they will offer going forward as the business grows.
