We've been dying to try out Codescape for a while now and decided to give it a whirl last minute last weekend. It was just the two of us so we joined in on another group of 4. Staff was nice and helpful, they explained everything thoroughly before they let us into the room. By law, they are not allowed to actually lock people in (fyi). You get 1 little nudge and 3 clues during the 1 hour game, nice to know they don't leave you completely hanging. It was actually difficult and required group decisions! There were three rooms within the room we were in. Everything is automated so once you find what you need to find, the door to the next compartment would pop open.
I definitely think its fun, just make sure you are going with people who actually participate. It really frustrated me that some of the group just didn't care or put any effort in at the end. I know we could have finished completely if everyone had actually fully participated. Will try again!
