I stayed here in July of 2017.
I showed up in the middle of the night, and on entering my room was not happy at all about it. The night lock on the door was broken, one of the lamps was not working and broken, the bathroom window wouldn't close all the way, there was dirt on one wall where the air conditioner had blown it in, the carpet seemed really dirty and had an iron burn in it, the bathtub was old and chipped...
So, why am I giving it 4 stars? The next morning I went with my list of anything that was fixable and talked to the desk person about it. She said they'd get it fixed. I didn't expect anything to actually be fixed. I went off to my seminar and came home to find that everything had been fixed while I was gone.
I stayed there for three nights. Everytime I needed something I talked to the desk staff and they went out of their way to make sure it got fixed, or they could help me in whatever way they could. They even let me leave my car there for a few hours after I checked out so I could go have lunch without worrying.
Though I will add that I don't think they have filters in the air conditioners. The dirt that I had them clean off of the wall in front of the air conditioner was back by the time I checked out.
I walked back and forth to the MGM grand every day for a seminar and even once late at night and didn't have any issues or problems.
The pool was right outside my room, but I didn't go in it, however I did see several people in it over the time I was there and the water always looked clean.
The pluses:
The desk staff is awesome
Free parking
Free wi-fi
Pool
Reasonable price
The minuses:
The place is older looking and a bit run down
The carpets are horrible and need replaced. Don't go barefoot
I don't think they have an air filter in the air conditioners.
