I'd like to give it a 2.5. I bet this was a real nice course dozens of years ago, but it's definitely showing it's age. Certainly isn't destination golf, but fun all the same and at the right price I wouldn't mind playing it again. 14 was a standout hole, a long par three from the tips over a large pond (see pic)
Mostly wide forgiving fairways with well placed big old trees adding challenges. Oddly though, many of the fairways had the cart path rolling right up the middle of them. Who decided to do that???
There were usually multiple sand traps at every hole, some with incredibly brutal Mick Jagger lips. It stood out to me that some of the traps had thick powdery sands, and others were like hitting off of bare rock which was frustrating
My partner was hitting from the ladies tees, which were very friendly. Most holes they'd be as much as 50+ yards ahead of the whites, two holes 85+, and both times water was in play from the men's the ladies tee would mostly avoid it
