  • I found Legacy last year and decided to take my rescue dog Buddy there. Absolutely loved Dr Muratore's up-front, animal-centered, compassionate care, so we stayed. I adopted a 2nd puppy, Max, who ended up having cherry eye. Dr Muratore did the surgery to repair it, but then 2 days later - on a Saturday - it failed. I talked to him on the phone that day, and he said, "Don't worry about it, we'll fix it." Max went back on Tuesday and got the redo surgery...and I wasn't charged a thing. Not one penny. I wouldn't, of course, assume that every surgery that fails is handled this way. But Dr Muratore was so genuinely upset that it hadn't worked the first time, that this was how he chose to make things right. I won't take my pups anywhere else.
