So, I'm a HUGE fan of the former Buraka location, thus VERY excited to have it join the neighborhood restaurant choices. But I was disappointed with the first try last night, when I ordered two different vegetarian dishes -- one that promised delicious cauliflower in a curry sauce -- but what arrived was a plate of rice with a largish helping of potatoes, two carrots, and barely any sauce on anything -- I mean dry. No cauliflower in sight -- not a one. And they had run out of enjera - the mainstay of Ethiopian cuisine. And the "salad" they served was limp and overdressed -- resembling iceberg soup more closely than any sort of side salad. I will give them another chance because they earned it with the first restaurant -- and I will change this review if the next time is better. But they're going to have to do better than rice and potatoes -- especially for the savvy Willy St. vegetarian crowd. Nice folks, lovely low-key atmosphere. But the food was not ok last night.
