rev:text	The food here is amazing. The reason why I do not give it five stars are many, including one of the worst lightings ever. if it were any darker, you would be at O'Noir! This restaurant is so noisy, with a combination of chatter and loud music that you think you are in a nightclub. We were a group of 7 (no, not THAT G, including some that had never met but to talk was an exploit that demanded bionic ears, if you wished to understand everything the other person was telling you. The wine list has very interesting choices, but the choice by the glass is abysmal. If you don't want wine though, they have a very nice selection of expertly-made cocktails that are worth even stopping at Marben only for drinks (bar area at the front)I managed though to order for a very nice glass of Niagara Riesling ($10) that was really a great match to my meal. And here is really the only thing that would bring me back to Marben: the superlative food. I had 3 very fresh, tasty oysters from Massachussetts ($10), the name? I could not understand as the noise was so damn loud, but it was great. I then followed with a wonderful octopus salad. A grilled in blood orange, spicy, delicious, non-chewy tentacle, tossed with red pepper, new potato, chorizo and scallion. Truly a superb and satisfying dish. Would I go back? Probably for drinks on the patio or an alfresco meal. However, since my impression of the restaurant area was "dinner in a dance club", I doubt I would repeat the experience in the dining room.
