  • We took my daughters car for an oil chang at Sears Metro Center. When we took it next to Firestone we were told that they could not change the oil because Sears had stripped the oil plug and we needed a new $400 oil pan. We took it back to Sears who swore to us they would make it right and that they replaced the oil pan. Well guess what, now we are getting the oil changed to find out Sears lied to us and we are having to pay to have the oil pan replaced. The moral of the story is that Sears no longer stands by their name or reputation. I am looking into what can be done to have them reimburse us.
