  • SAVE YOUR MONEY ORDERS ! My fiance and I moved into these apartments which was our first place together. Besides the pool with the waterfall I have nothing good to say about these apartments. They were constantly messing up on our payments to them for rent. One time we paid 150$ and they accidentally put our payment towards someone else's apartment ! When we told them about the problem, they told us to prove it......., which we did because we saved our money order, thank god. They didn't apologize or admit fault at all. If we didn't save that money order some other random person at the apartment complex would of gotten a free 150 dollars. At the end of our lease we owed 139 dollars for damages for a company called sure deposit which we paid again with a money order. They said that everything was taken care of, and thanked us for staying. 6 months later, when I was trying to get pre-approved for a loan on a house, surprise ! I had 139 dollars in collections with this apartment complex. When we went in to tell them about this issue, the whole staff that was there when we lived there last August was gone, and you can probably guess what they said when we told them about the issue,.....prove it. This time since it had been so long since we paid it, we did not save a money order, and couldn't prove it. So we were stuck paying that amount twice, and are going to have to jump through hoops to get it off my credit report, that 139 dollars probably went to that same account that sent our other 150 dollars to accidentally. There are other things we didn't like such as finding a quarter pound of hair and a razor blade in our sink drain, but whatever, that can be commonplace anywhere you go and I don't really care about that. Its the fact that they're incompetent, and thieves they really upsets me. Actually one more serious issue before I get off my soapbox. The PARKING IS TERRIBLE, if you get to the complex after 8 pm, it seems that there's a 90% chance that you are not going to be able to park anywhere. I don't even understand how that is possible. there were several nights, more than 10, where we would literally drive back and forth throughout the entire parking complex, and there was not 1 ..... single..... spot. We actually had to park across the street in another neighborhood, and walk over which isn't fun when you have groceries to carry. Seriously frustrating, they even have garages for cars to park, and somehow there are still no parking spots, maybe everyone has 5 cars each, I don't know, It's just not well designed parking at all.
