  • HONEST HONEST HONEST! Discount Tire will have my business for life. 2 times within 2 months (just my luck), I had a screw appear in my tire. I went to a couple of places by my house because they were close (Firestone and Tread Quarters). Both had suggested that I would need to go ahead and replace the tire. They made this assessment by visual appearance only. I did not replace the tires and each instance I went to Discount Tire. At the recommendation of my partner, he said "The places you have been going are crooks....take it to Discount tire if you want honesty". So I DID. Each time I went, I was greeted by clean and presentable and super courteous staff. I told them that I had a screw in my tire and they responded with "Oh No, I'm very sorry....lets go take a look". On both instances, the guys told me that I did the right thing by bringing it up there to have them look at it instead of taking the pliers to it myself at home. Fortunately, both times, the screw did not penetrate deep into the tire and they checked it for leaks. No Leaks were present. I offered to pay both visits for the assessment...and they said "No way, this is what we do is tires. We want your business when its time to purchase new tires." The second visit, the tech INSISTED that I allow him to check the pressure in all of my tires and fill them up before I left. No one tried to do a hard sell on new tires just by looking at it. In my eyes, DISCOUNT TIRE SAVED ME TONS OF $$$. I will be doing business with them from now on. I cant say enough wonderful things about this business. Its good to know that there are still good people who run honest businesses out there.
