| - Amazingly, I don't believe I've ever written a review of one of my favorite places in Charlotte for pizza. This occasion demanded that I do so.
Usually, we stop for an early dinner or a late lunch. This was our first brunch visit and we each ordered something new.
For me, the first no pizza visit - instead, I had probably the best Roasted Turkey Club sandwich I have ever tasted. A very large sandwich, filled with excellent roast turkey and slathered with a delicious garlic aioli.
My companion had a Potato and Egg Pizza - yes, a Potato and Egg Pizza. Certainly out of the ordinary; but, amazingly delicious! Even though this is not on the normal menu, we ordered one a week or two later and they made it for us and it was equally good.
On previous visits, we've focused on the pizzas; the Margherita, Pepperoni Comodoro and Sweet Fennel Sausage pizzas are my favorites.
Without exception, the waitstaff has always been great and the bar staff is friendly, professional and make wonderful cocktails.
I always try to get a bottle of the Wolfgang Puck Cabernet Sauvignon which is moderately priced. The wine is one of my favorites and, best of all, a portion of the proceeds are donated to Keep Memory Alive, a charity committed to curing Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's, ALS and MS.
If you are from Charlotte, stop by this wonderful place often.
