  • I awoke to a problem with my dog, she was listless, she did not want to move, she would not eat, drink or use the bathroom. I gave her time to cuddle and to help discern here problem, but after no change and a discussion with the breeder, I took her to our vets, that are supposed to be open, but they were closed. I contacted Waxhaw Animal Hospital and told them the situation, they said bring her in, even though they would have already been closed. Dr. Burtis and the technician took their time with her (and me), diagnosed the situation (a strained lumbar area), treated her with various therapies and we left and my dog immediately used the bathroom and she was much improved as a result! They earned themselves a client and I will sing their praises to all the folks we know that have these precious animals in their care. I never write reviews, but needed to do it now, considering the care we received. If only other businesses would see the value in caring for others, even when it is highly inconvenient! WELL DONE, you helped my precious Rosie and you helped me! I will not forget it.
