  • My wife and I bought a BMW convertible yesterday from this CARMAX. When we originally test drove the vehicle it had a warning about the ABS brakes. CARMAX said they would fix the issue. In doing so, the mechanic in their shop rushed the job and failed to properly secure the brake caliper to the car. While driving home at speeds of 70 miles per hour the caliper at some point came off and was held only by the brake hose. Somehow, by the grace of God,it did not tangle in the wheel and rip off the car. Had that occurred we would have lost brakes all together. This company failed to do their job and placed my families lives in danger and others around us that could have also been injured. When we returned the next day in a different car, we had the BMW towed, the manager said "I'm sorry but accidents do happen". I don't want to be one of their accidents. I will not be buying a car from them and I would be cautious if you do. So disappointed.
