  • My experiences with Milan have been favorable. The office staff are very nice--as well as professional--people. I am always greeted by name and with a smile. (Polly even knows my apartment number without looking it up ... and that is saying something as our apartment community is immense.) Meagan, the property manager, is knowledgeable, friendly and operates with exceptional integrity. She takes pride in her job as well as for making this property the best it can be. Polly (who I already mentioned, above) is professional whilst also being down-to-earth and she is genuinely friendly. I've had the occasion to meet corporate representatives (including Joe, who I believe is the regional manager) and professionalism defines him - but he also is in possession of a heart and soul which is not often found in Corporate America. The other members of the corporate team that I met were no less in the way of excellence. I do miss Jenni (who used to work here on property but she was moved to a different property within the same management company). She was very professional and likable - as a person and as a team professional. Our apartment home was *exactly* like the model we were shown. Our home was a newly renovated unit (and it is still the most beautiful floor plan I have ever seen anywhere). We have never once regretted choosing Milan as our residence. The maintenance crew here is fabulous. I've lived in other apartment communities and their maintenance people cannot hold a candle to the professionals on staff here at Milan. Any issues we have had have been handled promptly, professionally (as well as cheerily)! You could not ask for better service. Things do go wrong (in any home or apartment community) but any issues have each been handled quickly and capably which is really all one can reasonably expect. The landscapers perform their functions well. The grounds are beautiful and are very well maintained. When walking around the property (which we do, frequently) we have never seen dog waste nor have we ever noted any landscaping issues. The grounds are always well-kept and clean - and the community is very quiet for one its astounding size. Especially given our very urban surroundings. I have not had *anywhere near* the negative experiences mentioned by some of the other reviewers - and I have been here for well over a year. When we first moved in the community was known as Savannah. A couple of months later, our community became known as Milan. When the community changed names we also experienced a HUGE renovation/reconstruction. Folks who have lived in Vegas long term know that construction takes forever (and a day) in our town. The refurbishment and reconstruction process **was** tediously long (close to a year in all honesty) and our amenities (the main pool, a jacuzzi, the business center, the fitness center, the sauna and the leasing office were unavailable--the leasing office, itself, was temporarily housed in an apartment here on site - we were *never* without office staff ... although the office staff was without their normal office) were lacking for a frustratingly long period of time. That, however, was not the fault of Milan nor any of the employees, here. Long project times are to be expected when dealing with any construction going on in Las Vegas. The process takes as long as the process takes...and taking it out upon the Milan community/employees by leaving unfavorable reviews simply isn't reasonable nor is it an honest reflection of the actual residential experience here at Milan. Patience is a virtue...and there was never a point in getting angry with office staff because the community amenities were (temporarily) down. The office staff and management had no control over the pacing of the construction process. I feel that the one star reviews are unfair when rating the length of the construction time. The length of construction time has nothing to do with management, the office staff nor the community (other than the aforementioned amenities being down a long while...but only temporarily). Construction is now finished and everything is gorgeous. The results are very worth the long wait. (Again: patience is a virtue.) I have removed one star from my rating review because the noises from traffic can be heard from within the apartments if your apartment borders (or is close to) one of the surrounding (busy) streets. Again - for an urban environment - this can be reasonably expected...but the noise can be distracting (as well as loud, sometimes) so, for me, that deserves being mentioned (as well as a one star deduction). That being said, however, I love living here at Milan and look forward to continuing to live here for a great many years to come. As I mentioned - I have never regretted our decision to move here. It remains as one of the best decisions I feel we ever made. I am proud to call Milan home.
