Let me start out by saying that Veronic has an awesome voice and that this review does not in any way diminish her talent. What I found bad was the rest of the show around her. The scripting was clumsy and sometimes amateur at best. The show flow is not smooth at all. So many times after a 15-30 second performance we would drift into more chat and little hints of the next artist then tell us the name of the artist, then back to a 15-30 second tune, rinse and repeat. Veronic is so good that there is no need to tell us who she is performing. All the start and stops are cumbersome and too many. With the HD Video behind her, why they didn't just put up a graphic or creative text on whom she was performing as they did in the Diva set. . Keep the music and her great talent going. Stop holding her back. Put some pauses were she needs them for a break, but not so many that it becomes tedious. She danced and sang many sets like the Divas, a country set and a earlier 80's medley. The humor in the show was light and some of her overacting of performers where funny and perfectly overdone. I was getting tired just watching her. Towards the end of the performance you could hear her voice getting a little ruff from singing her heart out. It was opening night, so i am sure it will get better as the show matures.
