  • This place is such a hidden gem in Calgary. I've been 3-4 times for improv night and just love it. The atmosphere is relaxed, the crowd younger (for some reason when I think Theater I have this image of people in their 50's-60's drinking sherry and wearing tuxes and gowns, but loose moose is lots of collage age people as well as a mix of others too). Anyway the actors are awesome and it is super funny. It is well worth the $10 admission price. Everything is non profit and the place is all run by volunteers who just love theater. Improv goes every Friday and Saturday night at 7ish. The website has listings. Skip the movies one Friday and go here instead. You will have a much better time!
