| - I've only been to Bite, the bottom food-serving level of Moskito Bite.
Formerly Plaza Flamingo, this huge two floor building with great potential has finally, I think, developed into something College and Bathurst needs. Moskito is a club/lounge while Bite is a resto/lounge and music venue.
Bite always has something unique and different happening every weekend. They really range, so I suggest going with an open mind and no expectations. Beer is $15 a gallon jug, food is divided into "bites" which are smaller appetizers for $5 or less. "bowls" are entree sized dishes which are still affordable. It's a large venue, with booth seating, large group banquet style tables, Oktoberfest picnic tables and couples smaller tables. The bar is large and spacious as well. With a dark ambiance, wooden floors and a no fuss no must environment, it's a really relaxing, casual place to visit.
Interesting though, Bite is never crowded. It's absolutely empty on the weekdays, and semi-busy on the weekends. Pro or con, it means you have your choice of seating and fast in-hand beers whenever you pop-in.
The unique performances make this place interesting and really fun. live bands, Djs, Art performances and jazz, it really caters to anyone up for new experiences and a Bite of NYC.
