We only come here to get great deals on kitchen items (we don't consign anything). They have a price tag system that shows the date the item was consigned. The longer the item has been in consignment the bigger discounts you can get. Since the items are so reasonably priced we don't pay much attention to the dates on items. Here is a sample of the awesome items we purchased from there:
Viking handheld mixer with egg beater, immersion blender, and food processing attachment. Though the food processor for the Viking is smaller than our Cuisinart, the blade is surgical sharp (watch out!) and my wife loves to use it to chop garlic and chili quickly.
Cake baking pan with a hole in the middle. My wife used this cake baking pan to make the best fruit cake I've had in my life. The bottom of the pan comes off so the cake can be extracted once it's done cooking.
Two heavier vessels for baking food in the oven or serving food hot to guests. It's not Le Creuset (they have it there too at a heavy discount), but it does the job for us.
Waffle maker which cleaned up beautifully and makes perfect waffles every time.
The only problem with finding this store is that now we need to get rid of some of our older kitchen items we don't use as much because our kitchen is now overflowing! Both owners are super friendly and walking into their store is a new adventure every time we visit. There is extra parking in the back if their front lot is full and amazingly there are always people there at all hours of the day so they must be doing something right with the unique items they offer and customer service. We partially blame Food Network's Iron Chef for introducing us to various cooking devices we never had in our home but now feel like we can't live without.
