  • I really enjoy Goldies (and Zipps) for their cheap beers, low-key atmospheres, and decent food. We always go upstairs as we don't have to wait for a table and that's where the pool tables, shuffleboard, darts and buck-hunter are. I go there a lot with a group of friends that just enjoys hanging out without feeling like we have to get crazy...although sometimes we do anyway. One word of caution: The last two times I've been there my wings (medium buffalo) have come out with pink in the middle. Both times the server immediately took them back and brought me a new plate of wings on-the-house. The second plate was always cooked all the way through.
