| - Ok. First, they begged on their Facebook for yelp reviews saying they'd been 'attacked on yelp'. That seems unprofessional to me. My friends and I consider ourselves nerds. We cosplay, we game, etc. this place is a swanky, overpriced bar for standard bar-going hot people with nerdy stuff on the walls. We have been twice. The first time we were given free drink coupons and they wouldn't redeem them. We saved them and went at a later date and still couldn't redeem them. The bartender didn't know how to ring up my drink and asked me to wait. So I sat at the bar for 10 minutes while she proceeded to help other drinkers instead of asking another bartender to help her with me so I could rejoin my friends. They were having a costume contest. We dressed up. None of the bartenders or the dj knew what time the actual contest was. They took instagram pics but only of the scantily clad standard 'sexy costumes women' and not of anyone else. Again. Unprofessional and not planned well. They don't have food. They won't bring you your drink theyll set it somewhere and leave it unattended (!!!!) You have to pay to park. The drinks are overpriced and under poured. There aren't enough game stations, lanes, or tables to accommodate busy nights. The bowling lanes don't keep frames or scores so you're just throwing a ball down a lane over and over for no reason. Unless you bring some paper and keep your own score. Half the pool cues are broken so there aren't enough cues for the tables. Also, you can't close your tab at the bar, you have to search through the crowd to find your specific server. I mean....need I go on? It seems like they went 'hey let's open a bar and nerdy geeky stuff is "in" right now'. Honestly...the only reason to go is to meet other cool, nerdy people. But even then, half of the people who go aren't that type, they're normal vegas bar-goers who think they're better than everyone else and are rude. So. In my opinion? Go to a bar where parking is free, drinks are strong, and the people match the atmosphere....and that's not here. (Which sucks cause I wanted to love this place!)
