  • The prices are average for brick and mortar stores, many things are much cheaper online. But we have a turtle who likes to eat minnows and ghost shrimp, and their price on the ghost shrimp is $0.36 each, which greatly beats out another store which happens to be closer to my house, at $4.99 each! The service is so-so. One time I waited almost 10 minutes just to get some minnows! There is one girl who works there that is very helpful and personable though, and I will update when I remember her name. Most of the staff is helpful enough. But there is one female employee who I avoid because she is rude and in an attempt to sell unreasonable merchandise, tries to preach about animal care which she has no real knowledge about. But one rotten apple isn't enough to spoil the whole store.
