The Galaxy Cannery Theatre is your typical premium theater in a typical casino. And, you pick the seats you wish to sit just like all premium theaters. The seats themselves are are super comfortable and recline like a lot of theaters are moving towards in order to charge a premium rate for the premium movie going experience. I hadn't been here since the conversion and I was pleasantly surprised by a few of the things that are common at many theaters but Galaxy Cannery does really well. Like the seats vibrate during big explosions or high actions scenes. I've been in theaters where this is part of the experience, but these seats, the vibrations far out weigh other seats in other theaters I've been to that have this kind of seating. There are pony walls in between the rows. This doesn't obstruct the view but does give you a little privacy and buffer from having the back of your seat kicked or bumped which is a nice touch. The popcorn was tasty and fresh and the staff was ordinarily helpful and courteous. Nothing really stood out as far as staff goes. The bathrooms were clean and every sink had soap and the paper towels were full. This has been an item of observation for me as sometimes there isn't soap at every sink and paper towels have been out at other theaters. The space itself is clean and easy to navigate to the theater your movie is in. One small gripe as we went to a 3D movie there's no clear place or signage as to where to drop the 3D glasses. If they are disposable this would be a huge waste and that would certainly drive op costs for 3D. All in all a great time watching a movie, I will def go to another movie here in the future.
