This is a dump riding on a decent brand. Beds are crunchy and squeaky. I booked through IHG (their loyalty program). Flew into Phoenix to drive my Mom home to Canada. I called IHG and asked them to add notes to allow her to check in ahead of me. Yes, they said she is added. Fast forward to my flight landing and I have a text from home saying my Mom can't check in. I don't have the number for the hotel so I quickly call IHG. I'm on with an agent before we taxi to the gate. They confirm the notes are there. I say please call the hotel and tell them to let her in the room. I'm on hold and they keep coming back that there is no answer. My response is I'm on low battery please put me on hold and keep trying.
An hour later I get to the hotel and find out my Mom has been waiting in the lobby for 3 hours. I ask the desk if the phones are working. She confirms that they are by calling from her cell phone.
IHG was fully responsible for this error. Restaurant is terrible. Walls are thin. Vent in the bathroom opens to the bathroom next door. Don't stay here
