  • Paid $915 for a catalytic converter back in June 2015. Check engine light goes on this week and it's for the catalytic converter. This should have lasted 10 yrs/100,000 Miles...the one they put in didn't last even 3 yrs. I've only put on 20,000 miles since it was put it. American Auto wouldn't stand by the service they provided. Said they only have a 12 month warranty on all work then asked if I wanted to get it replaced. So I can be back in another 2 years?...no thanks. I'll go to another place that stands behind their work and accepts responsibility for giving below quality products/service. Makes me think they put in used junkyard parts but charge for new. I would not recommend this place for quality products/service.
