  • I thought this was a great experience? and am looking forward to visiting again and getting more services. I was truly nervous going in, not knowing what to expect but I'd have to say that I feel it's much worse to go into the refrigerator section of Costco than to go in the cryo chamber. Also, I had no idea I'd be in there for less than three minutes. I thought it was like hot yoga where I'd have to stay in there for an hour. Silly me! I'm someone that really hates being cold. I don't like wind or snow or cool breezes. But, I have been having some problems with numbness and tingling in my hands and feet and thought that this therapy might help. It did! I immediately? noticed a difference and felt better when I came out. George was my guide through the process and he explained what was going to happen very well. You can wear your own clothes or borrow some shorts and a T- shirt that they have on hand. I'd highly recommend bringing a change of clothes or wearing their loaner clothes because if your clothes are damp from sweating, that would be no-bueno once you're in the chamber?. They have easy to use, free lockers for your clothes and valuables. You get suited up with socks and slippers and gloves and a beanie cap. Then, after you spend a little time in the pre-chamber, you go into the big chamber which is kind of like a walk-in? refrigerator with a window in front of it. You can pick out whatever music you want to get piped in. Before you know it, it's over. Right at the point where you're thinking...wow, it's getting really cold, you're about 30 seconds from coming out. I could feel the hairs in my nose forming little particles like snowflakes...but I had a surgical mask on so it was okay. They'll take your temperature before you go in and when you come out. You'll go down about 30 degrees. My calves felt like they were getting compressed by the cold but that was forcing my circulation in a different pattern, which was what I actually needed. Luckily, I'm not someone that experiences much pain of any kind in my body...but I think this therapy could really help with pain and all sorts of other chronic problems. Highly recommended! A very interesting and unique experience that I believe really does help reduce inflammation in your body.
