  • Sat here a few hours this morning doing work, and thought it a good time to refresh my previous review. See that one for other details, but months later, DWCR remains consistent on all fronts, so the 5-stars sticks. Service is impeccable and personal, with staff making the occasional rounds to check on folks if they need anything, even offering a simple and free glass(!) of water. What other coffee shop does that? It's the little things. Bringing you coffee to your table after you've ordered. Real mugs. Music set at the right appreciable and conversational level. It's fine dining white table-cloth service in a coffee joint. And the tastes: today I had the seasonal salted caramel mocha. Why? Ordinarily I dislike the whole salted-anything trend, so let's test it. Flawless. Just the right accented tinge of salt to sweet. Balanced, not overpowering, but complimentary and complete. Win. Always winning here.
