Oldies are dying fast in the burgh. In order to keep up with the times, these classics just don't pass for the high end classy place to go anymore.
I ordered the special which was a sea bass. My cousin ordered the same but her portion was easily double mine. Plus they have the worst presentation ever!!!!!! How can you send out just a piece of fish or steak on a plate. I get the whole family style but a small mini plate with my fish on it is just depressing.
Think of it... If you own a restaurant what is your ultimate goal. Have the customer remember the meal, right? Well when someone serves me a tiny portion of fish for $38... There is nothing worth remembering but how lonely my fish was on the plate.
Oh yeah I had to eat my asparagus off a side plate. The asparagus was twice the size of the plate. Really....
The wife had a steak. The plate was 100 degrees and the oil was bubbling on the plate. They clearly used too much oil and did not let the meat rest. Cause when she was done the plate was a grosssssss oily bloody mess.
The severs need some basic training. Serve from the left and clear from the right!!!! Basics.... Come on. I expect these things from a high end place.
Never going back!
